Refurbishment of the Children’s Garden

The project was the refurbishment of the Children’s Garden in partnership with The St George’s Hospital Charity.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project was carried out to provide an area for the children to play providing a distraction from their treatment for illness or surgery.
Burren and Whitaker Construction Ltd were delighted to be appointed by the Trust to totally transform the existing unserviceable play ground into a safe and happy place for the children to play in.
The scheme included providing a rubber crumb and artificial grass surface for the children to play on with a climbing frame installed by The Playground Company. All the existing retaining walls were replaced along with providing an attractive footpath all around the playground creating a great and magical place for the children.
